All I Ask
To hear your voice, to see your face
To know your touch, your warm embrace,
To feel your loving heartbeat race,
That’s all I ask.
To hold your hand, to sense you’re near,
To watch you banish all my fear,
To let you wipe away each tear,
That’s all I ask.
To acknowledge that our love is true,
To be sure that when each day is through
That I’ll be safely home with you,
That’s all I ask.
